No RotorSulfurization Test InstrumentThe instrument, used for analyzing and measuring rubber vulcanization characteristics such as scorch time, optimal vulcanization time, vulcanization rate, viscoelastic modulus, and vulcanization plateau period, is a mandatory testing equipment stipulated by the national standards for developing new products, researching rubber compound formulas, and inspecting product quality.
Manufacturers of rubber products can use a curing meter to test the reproducibility and stability of their products, as well as design and inspect rubber formulations. Producers can conduct on-site testing on the production line to ensure that the curing characteristics of each batch, and even at every moment, meet the requirements of the finished products. The curing characteristics of uncured rubber compounds can be determined by oscillating the rubber within a mold cavity, obtaining a torque vs. time curing curve, which scientifically determines the three key elements of curing time, temperature, and pressure – they are ultimately critical to product quality. No RotorSulfurization Test InstrumentThe principle of determining the vulcanization characteristics of unvulcanized rubber compounds: The unvulcanized rubber compound sample is placed in a sealed or nearly sealed mold cavity and maintained at a set test temperature. The mold cavity has two parts, upper and lower, with one part oscillating slightly. This oscillation induces shear strain in the sample, and the reactive torque (force) of the sample against the mold cavity is measured. This torque (force) depends on the continuously varying shear modulus generated during the vulcanization process, which changes with the vulcanization time. Starting from when the rubber compound is placed into the mold, the vulcanization instrument automatically records the values of the torque reflecting the shear strain generated by the rubber compound. Consequently, a torque-time relationship curve, i.e., the vulcanization curve, is obtained. Its shape is related to the set test temperature and the characteristics of the rubber compound.

Yangzhou Jingzhuo Studio (Mold) features a rotor that continuously oscillates at a certain frequency (1.7-1.0 Hz) with a slight angle (3). The rubber material surrounding the rotor gradually increases in vulcanization degree and modulus under specific temperatures and pressures, resulting in a proportional increase in the torque of the rotor's oscillation. The change in torque values is converted into signals by the sensors inside the instrument, which are then amplified and recorded on the recorder. The curve showing the torque's change over time is the vulcanization characteristic curve.
The mouse buttons clicked on the rubber vulcanization instrument computer have the same functions as the buttons on the main unit panel for user convenience.
