An EDI unit is a membrane separation technology that combines electro dialysis with ion exchange, integrating the advantages of continuous desalination by electro dialysis and deep purification by ion exchange resins, while overcoming the original drawbacks of these separation techniques. Electrodeionization (EDI) technology is a new type of membrane separation technique formed by the combination of electro osmosis and ion exchange. By utilizing the ion exchange action of the ion exchange resins and the selective permeation of anions and cations by the anion and cation exchange membranes, under the action of a direct current field, ions are directed to migrate, thereby achieving deep desalination of water. As ion exchange, ion migration, and the electrical regeneration of ion exchange resins occur simultaneously, much like a mixed bed ion exchange resin column that works and regenerates at the same time, high-quality pure water and ultra-pure water can be continuously produced.
This system is designed using American-designed and manufactured components.EDI Module, featuring the following characteristics:
(1) Provide ultra-pure water for industries such as power, semiconductor, chemical, metallurgy, and general industry.
(2) Continuously produce ultra-pure water with mixed bed production and quality.
(3) No need for acid-base regeneration of mixed bed resin within the module
(4) Leak-proof guaranteed
(5) No need for saltwater injection and concentrated water circulation, simplifies system design
The basic working principle of EDI
EDI is a pure water manufacturing technology that combines ion exchange technology, ion exchange membrane technology, and ion electro-migration technology (electrodialysis technology). This technology utilizes ion exchange for deep desalination to overcome the desalination caused by electrodialysis polarization, and it also utilizes electrodialysis polarization to induce water ionization, producing H+ and OH- ions. These ions continuously regenerate the ion exchange resin, maintaining its condition.
Key Features of EDI Ultra-Pure Water Equipment:
1. Utilizes imported reverse osmosis membranes, offering high desalination rates, long service life, and low operating costs.
2. No acid or alkali treatment required; environmentally friendly with zero "three wastes" (waste water, waste gas, and waste solid).
3. Automatic control, automatic maintenance, real-time water quality monitoring, continuously monitor changes in water quality.
4. Customized design tailored to local water quality to meet requirements.
5. Fully automatic control system, with extremely simple daily operation; the system automatically performs flushing and maintenance, and the process of producing the product water does not require any manual handling.
6. Dual-flow design, capable of producing ultra-pure water as well as pure water, catering to various water quality requirements for different levels in your laboratory.
7.预留 upgrade space. Function upgrades can be easily implemented according to user needs.
