Physical and Chemical Properties
- Stability: High-purity quartz sand is a neutral inorganic filler, free of crystalline water, and does not participate in the chemical reactions of the material being filled. It boasts an extremely high level of chemical stability.Hydrofluoric AcidNot soluble in any other acids.
- High-temperature resistance: Can withstand temperatures up to 1200℃ or higher, and is a transparent refractory material.
- Coefficient of thermal expansion: Low coefficient of thermal expansion, only 5.5×10^-7/℃ between 0~1000℃.
- Transparency: Excellent light transmission properties, allowing UV, visible light, and infrared rays to pass through effectively.
- Electrical Insulation: Excellent electrical insulation properties; at 20°C, the resistivity is 10^18 Ω/cm, and the insulation strength is 250 kV/cm.
