It consists of a high-precision multi-dimensional CNC micro-motion platform, a high-precision digital gaussmeter, and a control and acquisition system software. It can accurately measure the spatial distribution of three-dimensional magnetic fields in any shape and space, the surface three-dimensional distribution of various magnetic structures, uniform distribution, multi-pole magnetic rings, N/S pole distribution, motor magnetic fields, superconducting magnetic fields, nuclear magnetic resonance magnetic fields, and many other magnetic properties. It can plot various graphs, store data, and save prints. Suitable for research on AC and DC magnetic fields, it has been widely used by many domestic and international aerospace and scientific research units.

The Multi-Dimensional High-Precision Fully-Automatic Digital Magnetometer System is our company's internationally-level automated digital high-precision magnetometer platform. It consists of a high-precision multi-dimensional CNC micromotion platform, a high-precision digital gaussmeter, and a control and acquisition system software. It can perform high-precision testing of spatial magnetic field distributions (1D, 2D, 3D), three-dimensional distributions of variously shaped magnets, uniformity distribution, N/S pole distribution, and many other magnetic field characteristics. It can plot various (1D, 2D, 3D) graphs, store data, and save prints. It can test square, round, cylindrical, multi-pole magnetic rings, and various irregularly shaped magnets, as well as spatial fields, suitable for various magnetic materials. It is applicable to studies in various aspects, such as spatial magnetic fields and internal magnetic fields in motors.

 

Widespread testing space:Space testing range: 4000mm x 2000mm x 2000mm (X, Y, Z), with optional 3-axis free travel and additional rotational degrees of freedom for a 5-axis platform. Linear travel with fine step increments (resolution: 0.00039mm). Positioning accuracy: 0.01mm, repeat positioning accuracy < 0.005mm. Angular resolution of rotation travel: < 0.0002°, positioning accuracy: 0.01°, repeat positioning accuracy < 0.005°. Motion speed adjustable in 2 - 64 levels. Achieves fine distribution of the testing space within the physical space.

 

High precision system testingUtilize a high-precision digital gaussmeter (1D or multi-D) with a miniature Hall probe (1D: 0.5mm, 2D: 1.2mm, 3D: 1.2mm) for enhanced spatial and surface magnetic measurement accuracy, achieving readings up to +0.05% + 0.005 of the range.

 

Automation and Digitalization:The system utilizes real-time computer control and data collection. The system software can be designed in various forms to test processes, allowing direct input of tested item data and detailed parameters for full automation of testing, with data automatically recorded and saved. It can automatically generate one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional graphics and measurement data for recording, with the database formatted in Access and charts printed.

 

Flexible combination options:The 3D translation platform and rotation table can be assembled in various configurations suitable for different testing methods to meet the needs of various tests. The system software covers control and collection for all dimensions and can be expanded to accommodate special requirements as needed, achieving fully automated, unmonitored measurement.

 

 

System Composition:

 


This system consists of a host computer (equipped with control software), a high-precision gaussmeter (either one-dimensional or three-dimensional), probes compatible with the gaussmeter, a multi-dimensional electromechanical displacement stage, and its controller. As illustrated in the example, this system can be simply divided into two parts: one part for data collection and the other for displacement. When combined, these two parts form the displacement collection system. The displacement module is composed of the multi-dimensional electromechanical displacement stage and its controller. By operating the host computer software, commands are sent to the controller, which then drives the movement of the stage's various axes. The parameters of this electromechanical displacement stage (such as stage size, motion axis length, motion mode, and number of dimensions) are customizable by the user, allowing for scanning in various angles and shapes within the permissible range.

 

The data collection module consists of a high-precision gaussmeter and a probe that comes with it. The shaft of the electrically controlled displacement stage has a fixed probe holder position. During data collection, the probe is placed in the holder position, and the measured data from the probe is uploaded to the gaussmeter in real-time. The gaussmeter communicates with the host computer software, which decides whether to record the current position's data as needed. By controlling the displacement stage controller and the gaussmeter through the host computer software, a specific position on the displacement stage can be associated with the gaussmeter's reading. The single-axis gaussmeter reads the data value corresponding to a certain direction at the point of movement, while the three-axis gaussmeter provides the X, Y, and Z values at that point, as well as the temperature (with optional temperature compensation function in the probe and gaussmeter) and the magnitude and direction angles of the vector sums of the two axes and the total vector sum. The scanned data can be exported and saved in Excel. Software can draw various required diagrams based on the position and data values: 2D standard diagrams, inverted 2D diagrams, 2D radar charts, 3D line graphs, 3D mesh diagrams, 3D solid diagrams, vector diagrams, cylindrical unfolding diagrams, and multiple curves or solid figures placed on the same graph for comparison. The software also integrates scanning for common shapes (spatial magnetic field distribution, rectangular graphs, magnetic rings, concentric circles, etc.), allowing automatic scanning with just a few parameters, high freedom and precision, and no need for supervision. Specific graphic details can be referred to in the illustrative diagrams in the following text.

Test Sample Types:

 

Flat magnetic field

Manual Control - When manual control is used, the motion platform will move the probe according to the manually input coordinates and positions. After the movement is completed, readings are taken on the software interface when the reading is stable as determined by human judgment. Used for measuring the magnetic field strength at specific positions, suitable for single-point measurements. Pay attention to the probe position when in use. For high-precision motion platforms, the resolution of motion control can reach the micron level.

 

Process Control - When using process control, it is necessary to first measure the movement path of the motion platform. After selecting the path, input the step length and number for each axis in sequence. As the motion platform moves, it carries the probe along the pre-set path to measure the magnetic field strength at various points along the path. Process control is also used to measure the magnetic field strength along a line within a plane and can be plotted as a curve. For high-precision motion platforms, the resolution of motion control can reach the micron level.
