I. Overview
The function of the magnetic shielding tube is primarily to shield the environmental magnetic field dominated by the Earth's magnetic field, creating a near-zero magnetic field (magnetic induction strength less than 1nT in air) inside after shielding. The magnetic shielding tube consists of two main parts: the tube body and the tube cover. The tube body is the main part of the small magnetic shielding tube, consisting of 6 layers: 4 layers of permalloy, 1 layer of insulating material, and 1 layer of aluminum alloy. Inside the tube, a degaussing coil is also installed. Four mounting corners are set at the bottom of the tube for easy installation and removal; the tube cover is identical to the tube body, with 5 layers: 4 layers of permalloy and 1 layer of aluminum alloy, and the cover is in a split design.
III. Demagnetization Precautions
The residual magnetism inside the shielding tube must not meet the usage requirements before demagnetization can be performed; strive to minimize the number of demagnetization cycles. Do not keep it powered for extended periods; do not use it frequently. Use it once, then wait for the demagnetizer to cool down before using it again.
