Spray towers are commonly used equipment for acid mist waste gas purification; they are produced during the production process.Alkaline gases, after being powered through a blower, enter an efficient packed tower. Absorbing liquid is sprayed evenly over the packing material from nozzles at the top, forming a liquid film on the packing. As the gas flows through the packing, the large mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, high porosity, and large surface area of the packing enhance the contact area and reaction time between the gas and the absorbing liquid. The purified gas, containing some moisture, passes through a demisting device at the top of the tower to remove water before being directly emitted into the atmosphere. Waste water falls to the circulating pool by gravity and is recycled after being treated with chemicals. Sediments should be regularly removed, transported, and disposed of.
