The 800H alloy features the following characteristics:
Excellent corrosion resistance in a water-based medium at extremely high temperatures up to 500°C.
Excellent resistance to stress corrosion.
3. Excellent workability
Microstructure of Incoloy 800H:
800H has a face-centered cubic crystal structure. The extremely low carbon content and increased Ti:C ratio enhance the stability of the structure and its largerSensitivityChemical properties and intergranular corrosion resistance. Annealing at around 950°C ensures a fine-grained structure.
Withstanding long-term exposure to high temperatures
Excellent antioxidant, anti-sulfuration, and carbon penetration properties.
Adding carbon and annealing treatment provides higher creep and fracture resistance above 1100°F (600°C).
High-temperature corrosion-resistant
Process easily via standard methods
Easy-to-use products suitable for high-temperature environments, join/weld
Water resistance to corrosion at moderate temperatures
Incoloy 800H differs from other 800 alloys in certain aspects. Firstly, its chemical composition is slightly different, including:
Fe: 39.5% small
Nickel 30-35%
Cr 19-23%
Al + Ti .30-1.20%
C .05-.10%
Many companies across various industries utilize Incoloy 800H and nickel alloy 800H for a wide range of applications, particularly those involving temperatures around 1100°F (600°C), including:
