Hangzhou Su Tai Technology Co., Ltd. has accumulated years of experience in the treatment of organic waste gas in the manufacturing of optoelectronic products. The production processes of five main types of products contribute to the generation of organic waste gas pollution in optoelectronic products: semiconductor integrated circuits, TFT-LCD, LED, printed circuit boards (PCB), and electronic terminal products. Below, we will focus on the treatment of organic waste gas in printed circuit boards (PCB).
In the manufacturing processes of single-sided, double-sided, and multi-sided printed circuit boards, the production of VOCs is relatively concentrated, mainly originating from processes such as film lamination, drying, electroless copper plating, and printing. The types of VOCs emissions primarily include alcohols (isopropyl alcohol, butyl alcohol, propyl alcohol), ketones (butanone), esters (ethyl ethyl ether, ethyl butyl ether), toluene, and xylene. Additionally, the storage of organic solvents can also result in the generation and emission of some VOCs.

During the PCB production process, besides VOCs, the waste gases also include acidic and alkaline inorganic gases, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and dust emissions. Due to the complex production process and the use of a variety of raw and auxiliary materials, the emitted VOCs are diverse and complex, differing among manufacturers. However, the overall concentration of the waste gases is relatively low, and a combination of water absorption, zeolite wheel adsorption and concentration, and high-temperature incineration is commonly used for treatment. Yet, an efficient dust filtration system is required, typically a bag filter.
