When the foam mixture supplied by a foam fire truck or fixed fire pump flows through a generator via a conveying pipeline, it吸入a large amount of air to produce foam, which is then sprayed onto the surface of the burning liquid to form a foam layer or film. This is a key component of the low expansion foam extinguishing system.
Applicable to independent Class A, B, and C liquid storage tank areas, as well as auxiliary Class A, B, and C liquid storage areas of enterprises with insufficient fire protection facilities, and to fire water supply networks for storage areas shared with other equipment; no additional pipelines are required.
Structural Features and Working Principle
The structural diagram is as follows: Figure 1

Operation Principle: As the foam mixture flow supplied by a foam fire truck or fixed fire pump passes through the generator via the conveyance pipeline, it draws in a large amount of air, produces foam, and then flows through the jet pipeline. After being blocked by baffles, it descends along the tank wall, forming a foam film on the oil surface, thereby cutting off air and achieving fire extinguishing effects.
II. Main Performance and Technical Parameters
Performance Parameters
Generator pressure range: 0.4~0.6 MPa
The generator is suitable for use with: various types of foam liquids, 3% or 6% concentration.
