Our magnesium alloy production line uses alloy billets such as AZ31B, 31D, M50, AZ63, AZ80A, and AZ91D, cast with the latest large-scale semi-continuous casting machines domestically available. The specifications range from 60mm to 400mm in diameter and 6 meters in length. Through continuous casting and mixed gas protection processes, the products feature high strength, dense internal structure, free from shrinkage cavities, solvent corrosion, and oxide inclusions, with a smooth surface and chemically balanced composition. The dimensions can also be customized to meet customer requirements. Suitable for processing into sheets, strips, tubes, bars, profiles, and wires, as well as the alloy ingots and billets used in these products.
Processing Technology:
Compared to traditional cast magnesium alloys, semi-continuous casting magnesium alloys feature a finer microstructure, more uniform composition, and a denser internal structure. They offer higher strength and elongation than traditional cast magnesium alloys.
1. Through pipetting and secondary refining, the magnesium liquid, with high purity and low impurities, is directly cast from the heated and insulated furnace, leading to rapid crystallization. This enhances the compactness of the internal microstructure of the magnesium rod, resulting in more rational and dense crystallization internally, and significantly improves its physical properties compared to traditional casting products.
2. Melt slag content in the formed products is closer to zero. Semi-continuous casting of magnesium alloys utilizes the new inert gas protection device, significantly reducing melt slag content and enhancing product quality. In traditional processes, the smelting process is fully exposed to the air, relying solely on flame retardants like fluxes.
3. Surface is smooth and clean, free of pores, shrinkage, and inclusions.
4. Length is flexible and customizable. We currently offer diameters of Φ600mm, and we can peel and cut to customer specifications. Additionally, we can produce products in various other sizes to meet customer needs. We also offer semi-continuous casting of magnesium alloy flat bars in various sizes.
