Tubular Ultrafiltration (Memos)

Advantages and disadvantages of tubular ultrafiltration technology:
1. Tubular ultrafiltration technology boasts high separation efficiency, and is beneficial for the recovery of trace components in dilute solutions and for concentrating low-concentration solutions.
2. The ultrafiltration process utilizes pressure as the driving force for membrane separation, resulting in a simple separation unit, short process flow, easy operation, and ease of control and maintenance.
3. Ultrafiltration also has its limitations; it cannot directly yield a dry powder formulation. For protein solutions, typically only concentrations of 10-50% can be obtained.
