Detailed description
The screw press, also known as the screw pressing sludge dewatering machine, is a water treatment system used in municipal wastewater treatment projects and various industrial sectors such as petrochemicals, light industry, chemical fibers, papermaking, and leather.

Principle of Dewatering
1. Concentrated
As the spiral drive shaft rotates, the multiple fixed and sliding blades around the shaft move relative to each other. Under the force of gravity, water is filtered out through the gaps between the moving blades, achieving rapid concentration.
2. Dehydration
The concentrated sludge moves forward continuously as the spiral shaft rotates; along the direction of the sludge cake outlet, the pitch of the spiral shaft gradually decreases, and the gap between the rings also narrows, causing the volume of the spiral cavity to shrink continuously. Under the action of the back pressure plate at the outlet, the internal pressure gradually increases. With the successive and continuous operation of the spiral drive shaft, the moisture in the sludge is compressed and expelled, resulting in a continuous increase in the solid content of the filter cake, achieving the continuous dewatering of sludge.
3. Self-cleaning
The rotation of the helical shaft drives the sliding ring to continuously rotate, allowing the equipment to achieve a continuous self-cleaning process through the movement between the fixed ring and the sliding ring, thereby cleverly avoiding the clogging issue commonly found in traditional centrifugal dryers.
