Structural requirements
Each drum crusher includes: cutting blades, washers, shafts, drum grates, bearings and seals, side bars, base, housing, reducer, and motor.
2. Designed for a dual-axis setup, the cutting blades and shims should be individually separable; they cannot be an integrated unit. Two sets of independent cutting blades and shims are mounted on two parallel axes, alternating and overlapping to achieve a helical cut. The two rotating axes rotate towards each other under the drive of the main axis.
3. The drum grate consists of a circular ring mounted on a vertical bracket and shaft. The rotating drum grate guides all solid particles into the opposing rotating cutting tools. Each drum is driven by its own motor.
4. Separate cutting blades and washers
Cutting blades and shims are made of alloy steel, with the surface ground evenly and heat treated to 45-50HRC hardness.
Axle
The drive shaft and driven shaft of the crusher are made of alloy steel, heat-treated to meet the strength requirements.
6. Drum Grate
The drum is made of 304 stainless steel wire. The diameter of the wire is 6mm, and the spacing between wires is also 6mm. The support frame of the drum grid is made of 304 stainless steel. The drum shaft is made of 304 stainless steel.
7. Sidebar
The sidebar is made of A3 steel and coated for corrosion resistance.
8. Base and Chassis
The base of the crusher is cast from gray cast iron. It features a flow guide that directs solid particles directly into the crushing grate while also serving to protect the shaft bushing. The upper housing is made of gray cast iron, and the bottom is formed from hot-rolled sheets.
9. Gearbox
High-performance reducers are suitable for harsh environments and offer excellent shock absorption capabilities.
Motor
Utilizing IP67 submersible motor, the motor can be used normally when exposed to air and also operates correctly when submerged underwater. The motor's rated power is 4 kW, 220/380V, 3-phase, 50 Hz.
