Part II: Usage
For use with: Steam BoilersSteam related to thermal equipmentEmissionThe noise emitted can reach up to 130 decibels.
III.Features
Pipe silencers (mufflers) are primarily used for effectively silencing steam emissions from thermal equipment such as boilers and steam turbines in power generation departments. They are also widely employed in the steam emissions and noise reduction of gases in industries such as oil, chemical, metallurgy, and textile, among others..A muffler is a device that blocks sound transmission while allowing air flow through.Significant measures for reducing the dynamic noise of steam emissionsTo evaluate the quality of an exhaust muffler, consider the following three main aspects:
The noise reduction of the pipeline silencer meets the requirements of the "Noise Hygiene Standards for Industrial Enterprises."
2. Pipe silencers are adaptable to a wide frequency spectrum of low to medium frequencies and high temperatures and pressures.
3. Pipe silencers feature reasonable structural dimensions, low cost, and long lifespan.
Boiler steam in the power generation department is not only high temperature and high pressure but also has a wide frequency bandwidth. Simply relying on small-hole sound absorption is insufficient. The Auxiliary Exhaust Steam Muffler is developed based on the composite noise reduction principle of resistance, jet, and block. It boasts large noise reduction capacity, a wide frequency bandwidth, and targeted design (for various parameters such as low-pressure, medium-pressure, sub-high-pressure, high-pressure, ultra-high-pressure, subcritical, and supercritical parameters of different boilers and pressure vessel pipelines). The noise reduction tube is made of stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti, 12Cr1MoV) for convenient manufacturing and installation.
FourPrinciple
Boiler exhaust mufflers are manufactured based on the micro-perforated plate noise reduction principle. Power plant boiler steam emissions typically have high flow rates, and high flow rates significantly affect the noise reduction of small holes. Therefore, we need to control the flow first, and then the steam after the first flow control enters the expansion chamber for further pressure reduction and noise reduction. After the steam is subjected to a large-volume pressure reduction, it forms low-pressure steam emissions. During this process, the airflow is ejected through small orifices. After ejection, the sound power in each frequency band is reduced, and the sound pressure level frequency is pushed up to above 20,000Hz, greatly reducing the noise. However, secondary noise at certain frequencies still requires further noise reduction. We install a resistive sound-absorbing cotton structure outside the expansion chamber, which is designed based on the frequency spectrum characteristics of the remaining noise emitted by the pressure reduction body, to effectively absorb the remaining noise. After the user installs it according to specifications, the total noise reduction should reach 30-60 decibels, meeting the requirements.
