Boiler exhaust silencers are manufactured based on the micro-perforated plate noise reduction principle. The steam emission from power plant boilers usually has high flow rates, which significantly affect the noise reduction of small apertures. Therefore, we need to control the flow first, and then the steam, after being controlled, enters the expansion chamber for further pressure reduction and noise reduction. After the steam is subjected to a large volume of pressure reduction, it forms low-pressure steam that is ejected. During this process, the airflow is ejected through small diameter apertures. After ejection, the sound power in various frequency bands is reduced, and the sound pressure level frequency is pushed up to above 20,000 Hz, significantly reducing the noise. However, secondary noise at certain frequencies still requires further noise reduction. We add a resistive absorbent cotton structure outside the expansion chamber, which is designed according to the frequency spectrum characteristics of the residual noise emitted by the pressure reduction body, to effectively absorb the remaining noise. After the user installs it according to specifications, the total noise reduction should reach 30-60 decibels, meeting the requirements.
