The BTYLHG type rotary grille de污 machine is a specialized water treatment equipment capable of continuously and automatically intercepting and removing variously shaped debris from fluids. It is widely used in urban sewage treatment, water supply industries, and power plant intake. Additionally, it can serve as a preliminary screening device in the wastewater treatment processes of industries such as textiles, food processing, papermaking, and leather. It is one of the solid-liquid screening equipment in China, filling a domestic gap.
Section II: Working Principle
The BTYLHG type rotary grate cleaner is assembled into a set of rotating grate chains with a unique trowel assembly. Driven by an electric motor reducer, the trowel chain rotates against the water flow, collecting floating debris on the water surface. As the trowel chain reaches the top of the equipment, due to the guidance of the groove wheel and curved track, each trowel produces a relative self-cleaning motion. Most solid materials fall off due to gravity. The other part is cleaned by the scraper's reverse motion, removing debris stuck to the trowels.
The rake chain, similar to a grate, follows the water flow direction. The gaps between the rakes mounted on the rake chain shaft can be selected according to the operating conditions. After the rakes separate solid suspended particles from the fluid, it ensures the smooth flow of water. The entire working process is continuous, or it can be intermittent.

Section 4: Product Features
The major advantages of this equipment include high degree of automation, high separation efficiency, low power consumption, noiseless operation, and excellent corrosion resistance. It can ensure continuous and stable operation even without supervision. Additionally, it is equipped with a mechanical overload safety protection device, which, in the event of a fault, will break the shear pin to prevent the equipment from overloading and damaging its components.
This equipment can be adjusted to any operational interval as per user requirements, enabling periodic operation; it can automatically control the start and stop of the equipment based on the liquid level difference before and after the grate; and it also features manual control for convenient maintenance. Users can freely select according to different operational needs.
Due to the device's reasonable structural design, it possesses strong self-cleaning capabilities during operation, preventing blockages, thus requiring minimal daily maintenance work.
V. Technical Specifications and Selection
This equipment is custom-made according to the user's requirements for flow rate, channel width, depth, and the required gap between rakes.
Equipment specifications are divided into BTYLHG300-3600 models based on machine width. For widths over 1800mm, the machines are made in parallel configuration with a shared wall section in the middle. Rake gap sizes available are 1mm, 3mm, 5mm, 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, etc. Selection is based on flow rate, lifting height, total solid-liquid separation, and the shape and particle size of the material being separated, with different materials available for optional selection.
The trench depth is customizable by the user, tailored to the user's needs and actual usage conditions. Generally, it is not less than 0.8m and not more than 15m.
Six: Control System
Control systems can be selected by the user or provided by them. Generally, quotations do not include the control cabinet, and the system can be used by simply connecting to a three-phase power supply on-site.
The on-site electrical control cabinet features a ground-level start/stop control button. It is equipped with start, stop buttons, and start, stop, and accident indicator lights. To save energy, all indicator lights are energy-saving models, and a motor protector is installed inside the cabinet. The control cabinet is designed to connect with the entire factory's PLC system and the electrical control cabinet, with the equipment's running signals reflected from the electrical control cabinet sent to the control room. At the same time, the PLC receives control signals from the electrical control cabinet to control the start/stop of the grate. This electrical control cabinet is made of carbon steel with corrosion resistance or stainless steel housing, and is weatherproof for outdoor use.
