2. Application Scope
Primarily applicable to single-phase, power frequency, 27.5kV rated voltage electrified railway wires, supply wires for auto-transformers, as well as feeders derived from traction substations, sub-divisions, switchyards, and auto-transformer stations.
3. Usage Features

3.1 Cable rated voltage: 27.5kV.

3.2 Conductors of the cable are allowed to operate at a long-term high temperature of 90℃ under normal operation; during a short circuit (with a duration not exceeding 5 seconds), the conductors of the cable are permitted to reach a high temperature of 250℃.

3.3 The minimum bend radius of the cable during installation is 15 times the outer diameter of the cable. 3.4 Low-halogen, low-smoke flame-retardant cables should have a smoke opacity less than or equal to 30%, the pH value of the gas released during combustion should be greater than or equal to 2.5, the conductivity should be less than or equal to 30µs/mm, and the halogen acid gas emission should be less than or equal to 100 mg/g.

3.5 Halogen-free low-smoke flame-retardant cables, the smoke opacity should be greater than or equal to 60%, the pH value of the released gases during combustion should be greater than or equal to 4.3, and the conductivity should be less than or equal to 10µs/mm.

3.6 The cable meets the flame-retardant property requirements of GB/T18380.35C Class.

3.7 cables feature radial waterproofing properties.

3.8 Cables are not permitted to be laid in metallic pipes; they are allowed to be laid in non-magnetic pipes.
