Description:
Fiber Bragg Grating products utilize ultraviolet light passing through a mask grating onto the bare fiber, causing a change in the core refractive index of the bare fiber, forming a Bragg grating. After encapsulation, the grating becomes a strain gauge. When subjected to external stress and strain changes, the grating's pitch changes, causing a shift in the reflected wavelength. Due to the linear relationship between wavelength and strain, this enables precise measurement of strain values.
OsThe C3300 Fiber Bragg Grating Strain Sensors are available in embedded and surface-mounted types. These strain sensors are specifically designed for measuring internal strain in materials such as concrete, reinforced concrete, or steel structures, enabling long-term observation of structural strain changes for condition analysis, early warning, and fault diagnosis.
