Utilizing high iodine value activated carbon powder, pressure molded with shaping binder, and then sintered at high temperatures. This product features a cubic structure with uniformly distributed voids, suitable for gas treatment, commonly used for low concentration gas processing.
Honeycomb activated carbon is made from coal-based activated carbon, formed through honeycomb mold pressing and then activated by high-temperature sintering. It can be used in various gas purification equipment and waste gas treatment projects.
Honeycomb activated carbon can be used directly or placed in a purification cabinet or adsorption bed. For high concentration and large volume of waste gases, using two purification cabinets and adsorption beds in rotation is recommended. During use, try to avoid excessive temperatures, as high temperatures will reduce the adsorption capacity, which decreases with increasing temperature; also, avoid high dust and oil mist, as asphalt dust mist can block the micropores of the activated carbon, increase resistance, and lower the adsorption efficiency. If the operating environment contains a large amount of dense dust and asphalt, a pre-dust filter should be installed to achieve good performance and extended service life.
Honeycomb activated carbon, after water-resistant treatment and secondary firing, boasts high strength, water resistance, acid resistance, and strong alkaline resistance. It is suitable for wastewater treatment, organic solvent recovery, and adsorption, and can serve as a carrier for various catalysts.
