YFB High-Voltage Dust Explosion-Proof Electric Motor Overview

The YFB Dust-Ex-proof Motor is a new series of explosion-proof products developed and manufactured by our company. In compliance with GB12476.1 - Electrical Equipment for Use in Combustible Dust Environments - Part 1: Electrical Equipment for Protection by Enclosure and by Limiting the Surface Temperature - Section 1: Technical Requirements (IDT IEC 61241-1:1999), the YFB series dust explosion-proof motors feature a fully enclosed, self-ventilated squirrel-cage structure. They are characterized by innovative design, compact structure, attractive appearance, high efficiency and torque, excellent starting performance, low noise, small size, light weight, energy-saving, minimal vibration, large temperature rise margin, high starting torque, superior performance, advanced and reasonable explosion-proof structure, and safe and reliable operation. This series covers frame sizes from 80 to 355, with power ratings and installation dimensions that fully comply with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.

YFB dust-proof electric motor casings are divided into dust-tight and dust-proof types based on their ability to restrict dust entry into the motor casing. The protection class of the casings is IP65 and IP56; their standard designations are DT and DP, respectively. Dust-proof structure dust-proof electric motors are suitable for use and maintenance in environments with flammable, non-conductive dust. 2 Example of motor model description: 3 Explosion-proof marking The explosion-proof marking of this series of electric motors is ExDIPDPT13, with the following explanations: EX - explosion-proof electrical equipment marking; DIP - dust-proof code; DP - casing type is dust-proof, dust type is flammable and non-conductive (if DT, it is dust-tight and suitable for explosive and conductive dust); T13 - ignition temperature group, for dust, the ignition temperature is >150～200℃; for the selected motor, without overload, the allowable high surface temperature is 120℃; with overload, the allowable high surface temperature is 110℃. 4 Usage conditions Environmental air temperature: not exceeding -20～+40℃; environmental relative humidity: ≤85%

1. Environmental Temperature: The ambient air temperature varies with the seasons, with a maximum of 40℃ and a minimum of -15℃.

Altitude: Not exceeding 1000m.
