1. The power ratings, installation dimensions, and rotational speeds correspond to DIN 42673, with necessary adjustments made for compatibility with the YB series and interchangeability with the Y2 series, ensuring greater effectiveness and applicability.
2. Full series utilizes F-grade insulation, temperature rise assessed according to B-grade standards.
3. Noise limit values are lower than those of the YB series, approaching the noise level of the YB series' I grade, while vibration limits are comparable to the YB series.
4. The shell protection level is upgraded to IP55.
5. Full series utilizes low-noise deep groove ball bearings; motor bases with a center height of 180mm or above are equipped with oil injection and drainage devices.
6. The motor radiator fins are available in two types: parallel horizontal distribution and radiant distribution, with the parallel horizontal distribution being the primary type.
7. Key performance indicators reach international standards from the early 1990s.
Explosion-proof motors, the basic series of low-voltage explosion-proof motors widely used in China is the YB series explosion-proof asynchronous three-phase motors, which are derived products of the Y series (IP44) asynchronous three-phase motors. Their explosion-proof performance meets the requirements of GB3836.1—83 "General Requirements for Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Atmospheres" and GB3836.2—83 "Explosion-proof Electrical Equipment Used in Explosive Atmospheres - Diaphragm Type Electrical Equipment"; the motor power range is 0.55—200kW, corresponding to the base frame size range of 80—315mm in center height; explosion-proof markings are dI, dIIAT4, dIIBT4, suitable for fixed equipment in coal mine underground or industrial II A, IIB levels, and for places with flammable gases or vapors in air explosive mixtures of temperature groups T1—T4; the main body shell protection class is IP44, and can also be made into IP65, the terminal box protection class is IP; rated frequency is 50Hz, rated voltage is 380, 660, 1140, 380/660, 660/140V; motor insulation class is F, but the stator winding temperature rise is evaluated at the B level, with a significant temperature rise margin. The main models of the derived series of low-voltage explosion-proof asynchronous three-phase motors include: YB series (dIIcT4) (center height of base frame 80—315), YBSO series (small power, center height of base frame 63—90), YBF series (for fans, center height of base frame 63—160), YB-H series (marine, center height of base frame 80~280), YB series (medium-sized, center height of base frame 355—450), YBK series (for coal mine, center height of base frame 100—315), YB-W, B-TH, YB-WTH series (center height of base frame 80—315), YBDF-WF series (for outdoor explosion-proof electric valves, center height of base frame 80—315) and YBDC series (diaphragm type capacitor start single-phase asynchronous motors, center height of base frame 71—100), and YBZS series explosion-proof double-speed asynchronous three-phase motors for lifting. Additionally, there is also the YB series high-voltage explosion-proof asynchronous three-phase motors (center height of base frame 355~450, 560—710). The YB2 series, co-designed by the industry, passed the national evaluation by the end of April and will gradually replace the YB series to become the basic series of explosion-proof asynchronous three-phase motors in China. The YB2 series consists of 15 base frame sizes (center height of base frame 63, 355mm), with a power range of 0.12—315kW.
Explosion-proof motors are primarily used in coal mines, oil and gas industries, petrochemicals, and chemical industries. Additionally, they are widely applied in sectors such as textiles, metallurgy, urban gas, transportation, grain and oil processing, papermaking, and more.
The rated voltage, rated current, power, and speed of explosion-proof motors are the same as those of ordinary motors. The difference is that explosion-proof motors have an additional explosion-proof marking: Ex.
