Protective-end emulsification method

Utilizing sealants such as phenols, methyl ethyl ketone, pyrrolidone, and sodium sulfite, the terminal -NCO groups of polyurethane prepolymers terminated with hydrophilic ionic groups are protected, rendering the -NCO groups inactive. This creates a sealed polyurethane prepolymere. After blending with chain extenders and cross-linking agents, a waterborne polyurethane adhesive is produced, forming a waterborne polyurethane dispersion. Upon application, heating releases the sealed prepolymere terminal -NCO groups, allowing them to react with the chain extenders and cross-linking agents, creating a networked polyurethane film. This method is highly process-dependent, with poor stability, and the key lies in selecting a sealant with a low unsealing temperature.

Reactive醛free dye fixative

Reactive aldehyde-free fixative is a dye fixative obtained by reacting epichlorohydrin with amines, ethers, carboxylic acids, amides, etc. Most are polymers with cationic and reactive groups, which can form salt bonds with anionic dyes (reactive, acidic, direct dyes) and cross-link with hydroxyl and amino groups in fibers and dyes, thereby enhancing their wet processing fastness.

Amine and epichlorohydrin condensate

Commonly used crosslinkers with epichlorohydrin, such as dimethyl and diethylenetriamine, are non-formaldehyde fixatives with high usage, easy manufacturing, and moderate colorfastness. Fixatives made by condensation with ammonia, methyl, and dimethyl are cost-effective and mostly colorless liquids. Fixatives produced by condensing diethylenetriamine with propylene oxide are more expensive and typically range from pale yellow to yellow liquids. If ring-structured, they can improve color fastness. To balance cost and effectiveness, most use a mixture of amines.
