Therefore, the key in the relationship between carbon black characteristics and resin physical properties is how to meet the issue of darkness and dispersibility, which are inversely proportional.
How can the effective production of the aforementioned carbon black be achieved? Particularly, there is a desire to directly produce carbon black with the same or better darkness as that produced by the槽法 (slot process), which also has good dispersion when mixed into paints or resins, and does not have the defects associated with the slot process carbon black.
On the other hand, recent findings indicate that the unreacted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons remaining in carbon black pose a risk of transformation. If the concentration of these substances in the carbon black used as a product is high, it can lead to safety issues. Therefore, we aim to produce carbon black through a furnace process that offers the same darkness as槽法carbon black, excellent dispersion when mixed with paints or resins, and a lower proportion of unreacted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, ensuring higher safety.

Reporter: Can you talk about your company's corporate culture, management, and business model?
Yao General Manager: The construction of corporate culture is of great importance, serving as the foundation and goal of corporate development. Our company attaches great importance to the construction of corporate culture. We have a small brochure on corporate culture, which every employee possesses, ensuring they are aware of the company's philosophy, goals, principles, and responsibilities. This year, we have signed training and education programs with both international and domestic educational institutions, investing over one million in training and education funds. Through these efforts, we have enhanced the quality of our employees, strengthened scientific management, and improved employees' quality awareness, making our management increasingly refined. Our宗旨 is to create value for our customers, generate profits for our shareholders, offer prospects for our employees, and contribute to the prosperity of society.
Reporter: Can you introduce the current market status of your company's products and the future market prospects?
Yao Manager: The synthetic leather industry is developing rapidly with a promising future. Currently, new synthetic leather bases have been established in Fujian, Anhui, waterborne polyurethane resins, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and other places. It is estimated that by the second half of this year, there will be dozens of factories with over a hundred production lines that can start operations, so the market is expected to improve even more.
Reporter: With the increasing industry competition and rising raw material costs, how has your company maintained consistent profitability?
Yao General Manager: Our company's success is based on product development and quality, so we have no concerns in that area. Moreover, growth is a mutual process, and only by ensuring a win-win strategy with our clients can the company sustain stable development.
Reporter: The country has been implementing strict environmental policies one after another. What difficulties do you think synthetic leather companies face in terms of environmental protection? Could you discuss your company's practices and experiences in low-carbon and environmental protection?
Mr. Yao: Our company has become a green enterprise in Zhejiang Province mainly due to our dedicated department for internal management. We regularly educate our staff to enhance environmental awareness and strive to use environmentally-friendly raw materials as much as possible, which is why the raw materials we produce now generally meet environmental standards. Last year, I participated in an inspection trip to the Biefield PD Chemical Park in Germany organized by our chemical industrial park. It was hard to believe it was a chemical park given the surrounding environment, facilities, and internal management. For our synthetic leather enterprise to improve its environmental performance, the key lies in significantly enhancing comprehensive treatment facilities and capabilities.

Water-based polyurethane boasts numerous advantages, hence its widespread application in areas such as coatings, inks, adhesives, leather finishers, artificial leather, and glove lubricants. Taking leather finishers as an example: finishing is a crucial step in the leather manufacturing process. It enhances the leather's aesthetics and durability, increases variety, and expands its usage range. Polyurethane-based finishers excel in film-forming properties, coverage, and bonding strength, offering superior physical properties of the coating, significantly improving the grade of the finished leather, and thus receiving high attention and widespread interest.
We introduced a series of modified organic silicone resins into polyurethane leather, coatings, adhesives, soles, paints, and inks. Comparative tests conducted by our engineers revealed that they can resolve various issues present in water-based and oil-based PU products.
