Shangde German Grand Solar Hybrid Yacht, invested and built by Shangde Company, will provide sightseeing tours for visitors during the World Expo. The Shangde German Grand measures 31.85 meters in length, 9.8 meters in width, and 7 meters in height, with a draft of 2.35 meters. The vessel features two decks and can accommodate over 150 passengers. It incorporates solar power into the boat's propulsion and introduces hybrid power to ship construction, making it a genuinely low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and energy-saving vessel. Its distinctive "Solar Wing" is 10 meters high and 5 meters wide, equipped with over 70 monocrystalline solar panels that can automatically rotate to follow the sun's direction. It also utilizes wind and its direction to harness solar energy.
