Performance Features and Applications
The HXT-Cl ambient dechlorination agent consists of calcium and magnesium oxides and hydroxides as the active components, enhanced with various additives, and prepared through a special process. This dechlorination agent is suitable for the precise dechlorination of various chemical raw materials under ambient and low-temperature conditions. At low temperatures (-4 to 100℃), it exhibits high chlorine capacity and removal accuracy. Even if the chlorine content in the raw materials reaches 200ppm, the chlorine content after treatment is still less than 0.1ppm.
Principle of Reaction
Raw gasCl-The inorganic acid root chloride ions react with the metal oxides in the dechlorinating agent to form stable chlorides, which are retained in the catalyst micropores. The chemical reaction equation is:
MO+2HCl=MCl2+H2O
Simultaneously, under the catalytic action of composite metal oxides,H2SSulfides can react with metal oxides to form metal sulfide deposits in the catalyst's micropores, thereby achieving the purpose of chlorine and sulfur removal.
Normal process conditions
1. Air Speed: Up to 2,000h-1
2. Temperature: -4~100℃
3. Operating Pressure: Atmospheric to 5.0Mpa
Transportation and Storage
(1) Desulfurizing agents should be handled with care during transportation, avoiding vibration and impact to prevent powdering.
(2) During storage, the desulfurizing agent must be protected against moisture absorption and chemical contamination.
