1Packaging
The quality of filling desulfurizing agent directly affects its performance, and it must be given sufficient attention. The entire filling process should be supervised by a dedicated person, and the following points should be noted:
(1)Firstly, lay two layers of mesh with smaller holes on the grille plates of the desulfurization tower.8-10Purpose Stainless Steel Mesh.
(2Apply an additional layer over the wire mesh.20-30mm, Φ20-30mmThick cinder lumps.
(3Due to dust generated during transportation and loading, screening is required before filling.
(4The discharge pipe should be capable of free rotation using special filling tools to ensure even filling around the reactor, strictly prohibiting pouring desulfurizing agent from the middle to prevent uneven filling.
(5The desulfurizing agent's strength increases with the increase in sulfur absorption during use, hence it should be filled in layers within the desulfurization tower. Each layer should be marked according to the filling height of the desulfurizing agent to ensure it is filled sufficiently, evenly, and levelly.
(6During the loading process, it is strictly prohibited to directly step on the sulfur agent. Instead, place wooden boards on the material layer before entering to remove materials and inspect the loading condition.
(7At the inlet of the desulfurization raw gas, a grating board or crushed coking pieces should be installed to prevent the desulfurizing agent from being dispersed.

(1The desulfurization tower usually does not require specialized heating to save energy, but outdoor desulfurization equipment must be insulated during winter to prevent the gas from becoming too cold, reducing the desulfurization agent's activity and causing water to accumulate on the bed, thereby deteriorating the operation.
(2Prior to desulfurization, efforts should be made to remove tar and foam.
(3Sulfur removal agents can be fully replaced at once, or replaced in sections along the air flow direction.
(4Timely discharge of water separators in front of the desulfurization tower and accumulated water at the bottom of the tower, strictly prohibit gas with liquid from entering the desulfurization tower.
(5Operations must be stable and usage must be reasonable to bring out its excellent performance.
3Transportation
(1The desulfurizing agent should be handled with care during transportation, avoiding震动 and collisions to prevent damage.
(2During storage, desulfurizing agents must be prevented from absorbing moisture and chemical contamination.
