Closed-loop cooling towers differ from traditional open-loop cooling towers in that they are completely sealed, with the circulating medium enclosed within the system and isolated from the outside environment. They can cool any fluid, and for cooling water, there is no evaporation, no consumption, no impurities, and no change in composition, thus preventing scaling and clogging.
