A collector-distributor, also known as a collector-settler, is a water flow distribution and convergence device composed of a collector and a distributor. The distributor is a device that disperses a single incoming water stream into multiple outlets, while the collector is a device that collects multiple incoming water streams into a single outlet. The structure consists of a main pipe, branch pipes, drain outlets, vent outlets, pressure gauges, thermometers, etc., mounted on a large-diameter cylinder with manholes or handholes. It is made of carbon steel sheets or seamless steel pipes, capable of withstanding certain pressure and falls under the category of pressure vessel professional manufacturing. The outer surface is treated for corrosion resistance or insulation.
Cautionary Notes
1. The mounting height of the bracket is determined by the engineering staff, but it must not exceed 1000mm. Antirust treatment should be performed before the bracket is installed.
2. The bracket installation should accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction of the cylinder. One end should be fixed, while the other should use an adjustable or sliding bracket to ensure the thermal expansion and contraction during the bracket's operational state.
3. When the working pressure exceeds 1.0 MPa, a valve should be installed between the body of the header and collector and the pressure gauge. The specifications of the pressure gauge and valve are selected based on the process design.
Application Scope
1. Steam or hot water boiler room steam and condensate distribution and centralization.
2. Distribution and centralization of chilled water in air conditioning rooms.
3. Distribution and centralization of high and low-pressure steam, condensate water, hot water, and cooling circulating water in industrial factories.
