A header and collector unit, also known as a header-collector unit, is a water flow distribution and collection device composed of a header and a collector. The collector distributes a single water input into multiple outputs, while the header collects multiple water inputs into a single output. The structure consists of a main pipe, branch pipes, drain outlets, vent outlets, pressure gauges, thermometers, etc., mounted on a large-diameter cylinder with manholes or handholes. Made from carbon steel sheets or seamless steel tubes, it can withstand certain pressure and is a professional pressure vessel manufacturing product. The outer surface is treated for corrosion resistance or insulation.
Cautionary Notes
1. The mounting height of the bracket is determined by the engineering staff, but it must not exceed 1000mm. Antirust treatment should be carried out before installing the bracket.
2. The bracket installation should accommodate the thermal expansion and contraction of the cylinder. One end should be fixed, while the other end should use an adjustable or sliding bracket to ensure the thermal expansion and contraction during the bracket's operational state.
3. When the working pressure exceeds 1.0 MPa, a valve should be installed between the header and collector body and the pressure gauge. The specifications of the pressure gauge and valve shall be selected according to the process design.
Application Scope
Steam or hot water boiler room steam, condensate distribution and centralization.
2. Distribution and centralization of chilled water for air conditioning rooms.
3. Distribution and centralization of high and low-pressure steam, condensate water, hot water, and cooling circulating water in industrial factories.
