Truss floor deck, also known as reinforced truss formwork, is a composite structural system that involves processing the main steel reinforcement of the floor in a factory with specialized equipment to form a steel truss, which is then welded together with galvanized steel plates. During the structural floor construction phase, this system replaces the construction formwork with galvanized steel plates, jointly bearing the self-weight of the concrete floor and construction loads with the truss structure formed by welding with the steel reinforcement in the structure. After pouring concrete, it forms a reinforced truss concrete floor that withstands service loads during use.
