PTFE Sintered Filter Core Performance
① Resistant to strong acids and alkalis.
② Withstanding high temperatures up to 200°C, suitable for steam sterilization and steam filtration.
③ High Pore Rate: Generally, metal sintered filter cores have a pore rate below 30%, while the pore rate of PTFE sintered filter cores is as high as over 50%, resulting in a greater fluid flow rate for the same filtration area.
④ Smooth Outer Surface: The outer surface of the filter element is as smooth as "wax," making it difficult for impurities to adhere. Additionally, the outer surface offers high filtration accuracy while the inner layer has lower precision, preventing impurities from penetrating the core. Cleaning is easy and thorough, yielding excellent cleaning results, and consequently, extending the filter element's lifespan.
⑤ High strength and toughness: With high strength and toughness, the filter cores are less prone to breakage, which is an advantage that metal filter cores cannot match. ⑥ High Filtration Precision: The PTFE sintered filter cores can achieve a filtration precision of 0.3um, and even below 0.1um, which is unattainable by most metal filter cores. There is no "degranulation" phenomenon: The inner and outer surfaces of the PTFE sintered filter cores are extremely smooth and fully sintered under high temperature and pressure, preventing any "degranulation" during use that could contaminate the fluid. Therefore, they are widely used in security filtration for water and essential industry production.
⑧ Strong ozone resistance: Fully sintered at high temperature and pressure, this filter core has higher ozone resistance than PTFE pleated membranes, widely used in water purification, food industry ozone gas distribution, and sterilization filtration.
