A twin-stage series Roots blower is a device consisting of two Roots blowers connected in series. Each Roots blower housing contains two counter-rotating three-bladed rotors, each supported by two bearings. A pair of high-precision synchronous straight gears maintains the relative positions of the rotors constant. There is a certain clearance between the rotors and the housing, ensuring non-contact rotation. Driven by the side housing synchronous gears, the rotors, through their "engagement," separate the intake and exhaust ports, completing the process of moving the enclosed gas from the intake side to the exhaust side within the housing. During rotation, the gas in the working chamber is pushed from the intake port to the exhaust port without internal compression. There are small clearances between the rotors and the rotors, the rotors and the housing, and the rotors and the wall, thus eliminating friction and contact wear within the working chamber.
