 Product Performance

1. A cationic surfactant that is easily soluble in water and acetone, butanol, benzene, chloroform, dimethylformamide, dioxane, ethylene glycol, methyl (ethyl or butyl), cellulose solvent, and acetic acid and water at room temperature. It is also soluble in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethylene, and styrene at 50°C.

2. Stable to 5% dilute acids and alkalis; decomposes above 180°C.

3. Compatible with cationic and non-ionic surfactants for blending, but not recommended for use with anionic surfactants in the same bath.

 Product Applications

1. Effective for static elimination in spinning of synthetic fibers like polyester, nylon, and chlorinated polyethylene, offering excellent antistatic properties. Antistatic Agent SN can be used alone or mixed with non-anionic surfactant oils and emulsifiers to form a water solution. Passing the fiber bundles through this emulsion eliminates static, typically at a dosage of 0.2% to 0.5% of the fiber weight.

2. Suitable as a leveling agent for polypropylene nitrile.

3. Static eliminator for plastic industry, suitable for PVC, polyethylene films, and plastic products. Dissolve the antistatic agent SN in an appropriate solvent, mix with a small amount of plastic powder, dry it, then add this material to the entire plastic powder. Process as usual, with a recommended dosage of 0.5% to 2% of the plastic weight.
