Carbide Tungsten Welding Rod
High-wear-resistant gas welding rods composed of tungsten powder, boron powder, and alloy powders; cast tungsten carbide gas welding rods feature high hardness, wear resistance, impact resistance, and high-temperature resistance. Oxygen-acetylene temperature: 1000~2800°C. Cast tungsten carbide gas welding rods
Tungsten content: 65%-85%, particle size: 30 mesh - 80 mesh.
Carburized Tungsten Gas Welding Rod Applications and Features:
YZ Tungsten Carbide Welding Rods for Gas Welding, featuring high wear and impact resistance, are widely used in surfacing applications for oil drilling tools, construction machinery, propeller blades (screw conveyors), fan impellers, mixer blades, mud pumps, coal chute, and more. They are also suitable for crushing machine blades, mining equipment, coal drill pipes, sugar cane cutting knives, etc., with high hardness to resist wear from rock and sand particles.
Weld Overlay Precautions:
Tungsten carbide welding rods, used for oxygen-acetylene surfacing, commonly employ a carburizing flame. The welding temperature is maintained at 1700°C, and the workpiece to be surfaced must be preheated. The surfacing area is locally heated to 850°C-950°C before welding.
2. Be aware of the material of the surfacing workpiece; different materials require different electrodes to achieve satisfactory results.
3. Weld overlay workpieces should be free of rust, impurities, and oil stains.
4. For large and thick surfacing workpieces, you may first weld them to a certain size using steel or 422 welding rods, then apply wear-resistant or impact-resistant surfacing rods.
