High-voltage Insulation Rubber

I. Product Overview

To meet the rapid curing requirements of insulation construction in some special scenarios, Lune Technology has uniquely developed a quick-drying insulation adhesive composed of two-component silicone rubber materials, with a full curing time of less than 60 minutes, significantly reducing the curing time of such products. When used with our insulation coating robot, it can apply a 2.5 to 5mm thick coating on bare conductors, forming a flexible thick film after curing, providing excellent insulation performance, with a single layer withstand voltage as high as 63KV.

II. Product Features

(1) Excellent Electrical Properties - This product stands out with superior performance and stability in dielectric strength, dielectric loss, voltage resistance, corona resistance, volume resistivity, and surface resistivity. The breakdown strength reaches up to 37.5KV/2.5mm.

(II) High thixotropy: During rapid extrusion, the product exhibits thixotropic effects, preventing collapse and deformation, ensuring the uniformity of the coating.

(3) Excellent Weather Resistance: Due to the stable chemical bonds in the chemical structure of this polymer product, it is not easily degraded by oxygen, ultraviolet light, or ozone. It can maintain long-term stability in a temperature range of -50℃ to 260℃, with minimal changes in mechanical and electrical properties; its lifespan can exceed several decades.

(4) High Storage Performance - Achieves a stable storage period of over 24 months under normal storage conditions through strict vacuum and multi-layer packaging.

(Five) Excellent flame-retardant properties compared to cross-linked polyethylene insulation materials (existing thermoplastic insulation cable materials). (See test report)

(Six) Laboratory tests and individual field experiments on anti-icing performance have found that the coated lines show significant effects in both ice accumulation and de-icing speed.

Four、Cautionary Notes 

Avoid damage: Prevent sharp objects from piercing the outer packaging during handling, otherwise it may cause the insulating胶 to fail rapidly.

(2) Shelf Life Preservation: Pay attention to the shelf life period. Once opened, use up in one go.

(3) Coating Thickness: This insulating adhesive must achieve the specified application thickness to ensure safe insulation performance.

(4) Construction Requirements: Avoid construction during rainy, windy, or excessively cold weather, as it may affect or even lose the insulation properties of the coating.

Avoid Contact: Do not scratch or unnecessarily touch the insulating rubber until it is fully cured.

(Six) Labor Protection: During construction, workers must ensure proper labor protection, such as wearing rubber gloves.

(7) Environmental Protection: After completion of construction, all packaging, containers, leftover paint, and cleaning fluids shall be collected and recycled; they must not be discarded at will.
