Lithium manganese batteries, or LiMnO2 batteries, are a type of lithium primary battery. They have a nominal voltage of 3V and an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +70℃. Special materials enable discharge at up to +90℃.
Lithium manganese material batteries offer an energy ratio of 330WH/KG, characterized by low internal resistance, stable performance, no hysteresis, and the ability to deliver high current discharge.
Utilizing fully or semi-enclosed production processes, with low self-discharge rates, storage life at room temperature can extend up to 6-10 years (based on factory's self-discharge sample storage records).
The naming rules for lithium manganese battery models, battery performance, and safety requirements are also referenced within the industry to international standards such as IEC 60086, national standard GB 8897, and European standard EN 60086.
Lithium manganese batteries are categorized based on shape and discharge performance, including energy type, power type, cylindrical, button cell, and soft pack square. Despite these classifications, as the customer base stabilizes and due to low usage volumes, many companies have ceased production for some model types for production efficiency considerations.
Here, Huajun New Energy offers advice to selection engineers: for new projects, communicate with battery suppliers in advance, and decide whether to use a specific battery model based on market demand and current circumstances.
Huaju New Energy supplies most lithium primary batteries. In addition to standard models, we accept orders for production of other types. For more detailed information, please contact Huaju New Energy.
