Lithium primary batteries are a part of primary (non-rechargeable) batteries. Categorized by material, they include lithium chloro-sulfur batteries, lithium manganese dioxide batteries, lithium sulfur dioxide batteries, lithium iron disulfide, and lithium copper batteries. However, lithium-ion and lithium-manganese batteries are commonly used in the market, with fewer companies producing and supplying the other three types of material batteries.
Huajujin New Energy supplies the majority of lithium primary batteries. We accept orders for production of models other than the standard and commonly used types. For more detailed inquiries, please contact Huajujin New Energy.
Lithium Antimonide Battery (Lithium Sulfuryl Chloride Battery)

Lithium sulfuric chloride batteries, commonly known as Li-SOCl2 batteries, are a type of primary lithium battery that is non-rechargeable and features a high voltage (3.6V), making it one of the highest-voltage materials among all primary battery types.
Her energy-to-weight ratio is also high, with the mature technology currently achieving an energy-to-weight ratio of 500wh/kg or 1100wh/l.
Extensive operating temperature range, -40℃ to +85℃, with special process, capable of reaching up to +165℃.
Storage performance is stable; according to industry-validated data, it can be stored at room temperature for up to 10 years with an average annual loss of less than 1%. However, due to the material's characteristics, the longer it's stored, the greater the discharge lag becomes, showing voltage but not functioning. In reality, after discharging with a certain current for a set duration, the battery's discharge performance returns to normal.
This material's batteries are categorized by industry companies based on actual application conditions, shape, and discharge performance into energy type, power type, high-temperature type, cylindrical type, and button type.
Domestic production companies mainly follow the naming conventions, dimensions, discharge performance requirements, and safety standards for lithium thionyl chloride battery models, referring to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards IEC60086-1, IEC60086-2, IEC60086-4, and the national standards GB8897-1, GB8897-2, GB8897-4. Lithium thionyl chloride batteries exported to the EU also comply with the European standards EN60086-1, EN60086-2, EN60086-4.
Huaju New Energy provides the majority of lithium-iodine batteries and has passed the third-party IEC60086 standard testing and certification. In addition to the standard common models being in long-term stock, other models are available for production upon order. For more details, please contact Huaju New Energy.
