High-Temperature Lithium-Ion Battery
High-temperature batteries are primarily used in environments exceeding 60°C, such as car dashcams (the temperature can exceed 60°C under summer sun exposure), and due to size constraints, small-sized polymer batteries are generally chosen for such applications.
During high-speed operation, downhole drilling equipment can generate high temperatures due to friction, reaching up to 150°C, even 165°C, and requires non-rechargeable lithium sulfur chloride batteries.
High-temperature batteries may also be used in fields such as boiler hot gas, power plants, steel mills, and geothermal monitoring.
