Graphite resistivity reducer is a powdered grounding material composed of high-line microcrystalline graphite, along with bentonite, absorbent, electrolyte, and other materials. It falls under the category of physical resistivity reducers, with all its components being effective. Additionally, the absorbent can absorb moisture and toxic ions in the surrounding environment, purifying the soil. Thus, it is an environmentally friendly new type of grounding material.
Graphite resistivity reducer features:
High conductivity
Graphite resistivity reducers must achieve good resistivity reduction for effective performance. The physical graphite resistivity reducer series by Guodian Tianbang utilizes non-metallic conductive materials, relying on the dense electronic connections of the conductive materials, unaffected by moisture. This resistivity reducer, which relies on the electronic conduction mechanism, is particularly suitable for deserts and arid mountainous areas with little rain. Even when moisture is dispersed, the resistivity remains low, maintaining a pronounced resistivity reduction effect.
High mechanical strength
Graphite resistance reducer utilizes a graded blend of different materials, mixed with water and applied to the grounding body. Under natural curing conditions with soil covering, the compressive strength of the graphite resistance reducer reaches 10MPa. Its high mechanical strength exhibits effects similar to concrete, protecting the grounding body from rain erosion and to some extent preventing theft. These features hold practical significance for lines in steep mountainous areas.
3. Superior performance
Chemical graphite resistivity depressants cause corrosion to steel grounding bodies due to the release of ions, particularly chloride ions. Soil has significant heterogeneity in its physical and chemical properties. Additionally, some resistivity depressants without strength (cannot solidify) may not encase the steel grounding bodies tightly, allowing moisture, oxygen, microorganisms, and other elements to penetrate and cause corrosion. The second point mentions that the Guodian Tianbang series physical graphite resistivity depressants have the characteristics of concrete, becoming dense after construction and curing, thus preventing steel corrosion. The SUPERWELD series physical graphite resistivity depressants also have a high pH value, which can prevent the corrosion of many acidic ions. The excellent corrosion resistance of the steel reinforcement in concrete is due to this high pH value. The Guodian Tianbang series physical graphite resistivity depressants also include corrosion inhibitors to protect the grounding bodies.
