The aluminum-zinc plated steel surface features a unique smooth, flat, and glossy star pattern with a silver-white base color. The special coating structure provides excellent corrosion resistance. The normal service life of the aluminum-zinc plated steel can reach 25 years, with good heat resistance for use in high-temperature environments up to 315℃; the coating has good adhesion with the paint film, offering excellent workability for processes like stamping, cutting, and welding; and it exhibits good surface conductivity.
The coating composition is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon by weight. The production process of aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets is similar to that of galvanized steel sheets and aluminum sheets, being a continuous molten coating process. The aluminum-zinc coated steel sheets with a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating exhibit corrosion resistance when both sides are exposed to the same environment, compared to galvanized steel sheets of the same thickness. In addition to excellent corrosion resistance, the color coated products with a 55% aluminum-zinc alloy coating also have good adhesion and flexibility.
