The project is located south of Wuhuan Road in Xuzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, west of National Highway 206, and east of the Jining-Pu Railway. The site is currently undergoing backfilling and has reached the "three connections and one leveling" requirements. The design employs compaction methods for ground treatment. The northeastern part of the factory area requires compaction treatment of the foundation to meet the basic design requirements.
Compaction requirements
(1) After reinforcement, inspect the reinforced foundation. If the inspection results do not meet design and specification requirements, take appropriate action or perform additional compaction.
(2) Strictly adhere to the design for construction, ensuring no gaps or insufficient compaction.
(3) When the distance from the ramming location to existing buildings is less than 20 meters, measures should be taken in accordance with the requirements of the monitoring unit.
(4) Single-point compaction construction steps
Prior to single-point compaction work, draw the layout diagrams of compaction points for each section according to the design principles. The steps for single-point compaction are as follows:
Clear and level the construction site.
②Mark and count the compaction points once, and measure the site's elevation.
③The compactor is positioned, with the hammer placed over the compaction point.
④ Measure the elevation before and after compaction.
⑤ Hoist the compaction hammer to the predetermined height, activate the unhooking device, allowing the hammer to fall freely, lower the hoist, and measure the height of the hammer's top. If the hammer is found to be tilted due to the inclined bottom of the pit, the pit bottom should be leveled promptly.
⑥ Repeat the previous step, completing the tamping at a tamping point according to the specified number of tamps and control standards; when the tamping pit is too deep, causing difficulty in lifting the hammer, but no heave is present, and it has not yet reached the control standard, it is advisable to backfill the pit to the level of the pit top and continue tamping.
Step 7: Move to the next compaction point, repeat steps three to six, and complete one round of compaction for all compaction points.
⑧ Level the foundation pits with a bulldozer and measure the site's elevation.
After the specified time intervals, sequentially complete all the compaction passes as mentioned above; finally, use low-energy full compaction to compact the loose soil on the site surface, and measure the site elevation after compaction.
Compaction construction process
Construction Preparation → Site Grading → Compaction Point Layout → First Count Compaction Construction → Second Count Compaction Construction → Leveling → Full Compaction → Leveling → Testing and Inspection
