To enhance the bearing capacity of the embankment for the Huaxian Embankment Project, our county has conducted compaction work on the embankment based on well-point dewatering. The compaction construction of the embankment commenced on July 3rd. Our company is responsible for the compaction work on both the Sanhe Embankment and the Daxingzhuang Village Embankment, totaling a compaction area of 850,000 square meters.
Our company scientifically develops the embankment compaction plan, standardizes the construction procedures, and has a total of 26 compaction machinery sets, 3 bulldozers, and 14 support vehicles on site for the two embankments.

Key to completing this project within 25 days is thorough pre-construction precipitation work, which lays a solid foundation for compaction. Based on the consultation意见 of the Yellow River Commission industry experts, and in alignment with the construction schedule requirements of the village platform community, we have further optimized the well point arrangement with 15m x 15m spacing between wells. The well depth extends 1 meter below the original ground level from the platform top, with 2 meters of medium sand backfilled into the well. The pipeline joints are sealed with sealant, and additional well points are densified in certain areas.
Project organized 46 sets of well-drilling equipment, 12 pumps, and 8 water pipe trucks. With meticulous planning, all participants demonstrated a spirit of enduring hardship and continuous operation, rising early and returning late, braving wind, snow, and extreme cold, and making a decisive effort to reduce water levels on the village platform. A total of over 7,000 wells were drilled, securing the initiative for normal water levels. Observations show that the post-treatment water reduction plan results in a daily reduction of 5-7 centimeters, significantly improving the success rate of water reduction, and the results are promising.
Practical evidence shows that using the well-point dewatering method has saved dewatering time and investment, gaining the initiative for advancing work according to time nodes. Next, Jucheng will further enhance coordination and communication, and promptly adopt static pressure or compaction measures for foundation treatment of the village platforms, laying a solid foundation for the scheduled construction of the community.
