FYT-1 Improved Bridge Deck Waterproofing CoatingA waterproofing coating primarily composed of epoxy resin emulsion of high polymers, petroleum asphalt, and domestic synthetic rubber emulsions, fortified with a variety of functional additives. It is mainly used for bridge deck waterproofing, preventing steel corrosion caused by concrete deck leakage, and extending the service life of beams.

 FYT-1Improved Bridge Deck Waterproofing CoatingBridge-specific waterproofing material; this coating withstands high temperatures up to 180°C and low temperatures down to -40°C, expanding the requirements for special temperature environments. Additionally, it addresses the peeling issue caused by pavers and material transport vehicles, exceeding the existing national standards; the FYT-1 improved asphalt waterproofing coating is in compliance with JT/T535-2004 and JC/T975-FYT-1Improved Bridge Deck Waterproof CoatingIt is an emulsion paint with excellent dispersion and small particle size. Modified with various rubbers and asphalt, it features interpenetrating cross-linking, high film strength, and maintains rubber elasticity and low-temperature properties. It has good adsorption, film-forming, and anti-seepage capabilities, as well as strong shear resistance and aging resistance, meeting the long-term load requirements of bridge surfaces. It prevents water seepage, structural damage caused by deicing saltwater and chlorides from vehicles spraying rain or snow, and the rusting of reinforcing steel and cracking of concrete, thereby extending the service life of the bridge.

Construction process

Clean Base - Area Treatment - First waterproofing layer - Second waterproofing layer - Third waterproofing layer (multiple coatings can be applied as per construction requirements) - Waterproofing layer maintenance - Laying asphalt concrete.

Surface preparation prior to construction

New concrete bridge decks should have a minimum curing period of 7 days, and it is recommended to use shot blasting and grit blasting treatment.

First, remove any adverse adherents on the road surface, clean the road sand and debris. For spots with oil stains, special treatment is required, and solvents can be used to dissolve them.

(2) After road sweeping, the road is treated with an abrasive blast machine to remove floating slurry and some loosely attached debris, while ensuring the road meets the required cleanliness and roughness standards.

(3) Use a specialized nozzle hair dryer to blow and dry the surface.
