Polyester glass fiber cloth is a novel composite anti-crack material, a composite geosynthetic material composed of 60% glass fiber and 40% polyester fiber. This unique blend provides the strength of glass fiber and the flexibility of polyester fiber without the disadvantages of the raw materials.
Installation of polyester fiberglass cloth is very convenient when following the methods below.
Clean the surface where polyester glass fiber fabric will be laid: remove dirt, gravel, and dust to ensure the asphalt bonding effect.
When the base road surface has significant cracks (over 6mm), potholes, or damage, it should be repaired and leveled.
The bonding oil layer must be hot asphalt; emulsified asphalt is not permitted, otherwise the bonding effect of the polyester glass fiber cloth will be reduced.
The temperature for bonding asphalt is 163-204°C.
The polyester fiberglass fabric must be laid before the asphalt loses its fluidity after the asphalt is sprayed, otherwise the fabric will be difficult to penetrate with asphalt, reducing the waterproof performance of the polyester fiberglass fabric.
The installation of polyester glass fiber fabric requires an ambient temperature of 4℃ or higher.
