EVA Geomembrane Overview
EVA Geomembrane Waterproofing Material is a composite film (seepage prevention membrane) formed by multi-layer co-extrusion, combined with needle-punched geotextiles using hot-molding technology to create geomembrane composites (one fabric, one film; two fabrics, one film; two films, one fabric). This product boasts high mechanical strength, aging resistance, strong puncture resistance, large friction coefficient, flexibility, and corrosion resistance. Additionally, it offers benefits such as light weight, wide width, low-temperature resistance, excellent waterproofing properties, easy laying and processing, and good welding characteristics. It can be widely used in projects such as highways, airports, railways, tunnels, water conservancy, embankments, power plants, and construction. It not only serves to reinforce, isolate, filter back, and drain but also extends the service life of projects and reduces maintenance costs. Construction with this product is convenient and ensures high-quality workmanship. PE and EVA geomembranes are waterproofing materials with soft texture, offering excellent flexibility and low-temperature resistance among polyolefins, making them substitutes for PVC seepage prevention membranes. The outstanding low-temperature flexibility of EVA geomembranes is particularly suitable for construction in cold regions. Our company can produce EVA geomembranes with different VA contents according to the actual needs of customers, controlling the VA% content of EVA co-extruded seepage prevention membranes between 5%-8% by using synthetic resins (HDPE, LDPE, EVA, ECB) as the base material, and adding antioxidants, ultraviolet absorbers, colorants, and other auxiliary materials. HDPE geomembrane has excellent physical and mechanical properties, resistance to aging, chemical corrosion, environmental erosion, and puncture resistance. LDPE and EVA have high elongation and good low-temperature properties, making them soft and easy to install. ECB geomembrane is a geotextile made by blending ethylene copolymers with petroleum resins.
Primary Uses of EVA Geomembrane
EVA geomembranes are primarily used in waterproofing projects such as waste landfill sites and wastewater treatment plants. They are mainly used for tunnel composite linings and are not suitable for exposed roofs. EVA geomembranes are also used in subway projects, tunnels, air-raid shelters, flood barriers, artificial lakes, and industrial waterproofing. ECB is mainly used for waterproofing in subway, road, dam, tunnel, and civil engineering projects. HDPE and LDPE refer to high-density and low-density polyethylene composite geomembranes, respectively, along with PE geomembranes, EVA geomembranes, reinforced geomembranes, and composite geomembranes. Features: 1. A full range of widths and thicknesses (thickness 0.2-4mm; width 2.5-8m). 2. High flexibility and toughness. 3. High transparency. 4. Excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking. 5. Wide temperature range adaptability. 6. Easy to lay and install. 7. Suitable for complex terrain in underground projects like subways and tunnels.
