A bidirectional stretched geotextile grid is a high-strength reinforced geosynthetic material made from polypropylene (PP) through plasticized extrusion, plate punching, longitudinal stretching, and transverse stretching. It boasts numerous advantages such as high strength, stable structure, resistance to aging, and corrosion resistance.

Application Fields
Double-walled geogrids are primarily used for reinforcement in soft soil projects such as roads and railways, as well as for slope protection and large-scale landfill projects. They significantly enhance the load-bearing capacity of soft soil foundations, prevent surface cracking and collapse, facilitate construction, and reduce maintenance costs.
The bidirectional plastic stretched geogrid is made by extrusion, sheet forming, and punching processes, followed by longitudinal and transverse stretching using high molecular polymer. This material boasts significant tensile strength in both directions, providing an ideal连锁 system for force bearing and diffusion within the soil, suitable for reinforcing large-area foundations.
Two-way plastic geogrid
Square or rectangular polymer mesh formed by stretching, which can be uni-directional or bi-directional depending on the stretching direction during manufacturing. It is created by punching holes in polymer sheets (usually made of polypropylene or high-density polyethylene) after extrusion, and then undergoing directional stretching under heating conditions. Uni-directional stretched gratings are made by stretching along the length of the sheet only; bi-directional stretched gratings are produced by further stretching the uni-directional gratings perpendicular to their length.
