Description


High-tensile steel-plastic geogrid, made from high-tensile steel wire (or other fibers) treated in a special manner, is compounded with polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), along with other additives, through extrusion to form a composite high-tensile tensile strip with a rough embossed surface. This is known as a high-tensile reinforced geotextile tape. By weaving or interlacing these single strips longitudinally and transversely at a certain spacing, and then welding their junction points using a special reinforced bonding melting technique (ultrasonic welding technology), a reinforced geogrid is formed.

Features

Compared to traditional gratings, it boasts features such as enhanced strength, high load-bearing capacity, corrosion resistance, anti-aging properties, high friction coefficient, uniform holes, ease of installation, and a long service life.


High tensile strength – longitudinal and transverse tensile yield strength up to 20-150 KN per meter, tested by the Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Railways, and Ministry of Water Resources.
Deformed Small - The yield elongation of convex node steel-plastic geogrids is ≤3%; the yield elongation of convex node plastic geogrids is ≤10%.
High node strength – This product is made up of a grid formed by interlocking longitudinal and transverse steel strips with cast raised nodes, featuring high node strength. The welding strength of grid nodes is ≥1.5MPa, and the ultimate pull-off force of raised node grids is ≥300N.
Long-lasting – Plastic is the material that protects high-tensile steel wire and also serves as the load-bearing material for plastic gratings. It possesses chemical properties that are resistant to acid, alkali, and salt corrosion, and is scientifically formulated to have anti-aging and antioxidant properties. Suitable for various engineering projects, its service life can exceed a century.
Excellent performance – grid-like casting convex node structure, enhancing the interlocking bite action between the grid and the rock and soil, capable of constraining lateral soil displacement, improving the bearing capacity of the foundation, reducing overall soil settlement, and improving uneven soil settlement, enhancing the overall performance of the foundation, and preventing surface cracking.
Cost-saving - Numerous engineering cases demonstrate that reinforced soil structures constructed with this material can save up to 10%-50% in costs compared to those built using traditional methods.
Construction convenience - Simple layout and positioning of gratings, easy to level. Width: 2m-4m, fewer joints, capable of passing through lock connections, short construction period.
