Points to Note about Mela Sheets:
1. Crease
Some Mylar sheets require creasing (usually after die-cutting), and creasing inevitably results in indentation; if the indentation is too deep, there's a risk of damage at the indentation, and it may also affect the safety insulation of the entire unit; some Mylar sheets require a backing adhesive. To facilitate the application of the adhesive, manufacturers make indentations on the Mylar sheets for alignment; similarly, the indentations should not be too deep and must not puncture through.
2. Adhesive Backing
Mylar sheets are a type of soft film. To enhance assembly processability, the backside of the mylar can be coated with adhesive.
