This instrument utilizes eddy current impedance plane and time-base scanning display technology to simultaneously show the two-dimensional graph of the eddy current signal and its time-base curve of the detection object in multiple windows on the same screen. All operations are conducted through menu-driven human-machine interaction and keyboard control. Standard detection programs can be stored in large quantities on both software and hardware, allowing for easy access by users at any time. Significant detection results can be frozen on the screen with textual annotations and can also be saved on software and hardware or printed as hard copies.

It does not require coupling medium or contact with the workpiece during the detection process, making it easy to achieve automation. Additionally, with multiple detection channels, it can meet the one-time flaw detection requirements of multiple production lines or multiple detection surfaces of a single workpiece, suitable for mechanical components such as welding steel strips, sucker rods, valve stems, pins, gears, hubs, needle roller bearings, hollow shafts, and screw blanks, as well as metal tubes, bars, wires, and shapes.
