The R-series RP and RH linear magnetostrictive displacement sensors comply with the Profibus-DP (EN 50170) protocol. The sensors transmit position data to the controller in RS-485 standard serial synchronous format, with a high rate of 12 Mbps. The Profibus-DP interface includes the Siemens bus controller SPC3. Additionally, Profibus-DP offers powerful diagnostic and setup functions, which are loaded onto the bus in the form of a GSD electronic instrument data sheet.
Pressure-resistant outer tube dimensions and installation instructions
RH series pressure-resistant outer tube, aluminum profile electronic chamber, designed specifically for hydraulic system use, internally mounted within the hydraulic cylinder. Pressure resistance up to 34MPa continuous (69MPa peak). Thread specifications: M18×1.5, M20×1.5, or 3/4”-16 UNF-3A.

Note: The dead zones shown in the diagram indicate that the sensor outputs are zero or unreliable within this area. The upper and lower dead zone values for this sensor are 50.8 and 63.5mm, respectively. These values can be appropriately adjusted according to customer requirements and should be specifically mentioned to our sales or technical staff when placing an order.
